Week 109 – More Steel and Irrigation

The terrace is pretty much done and the steel bases for the railing are installed.

All the structural steel for the floating steps for the front door entry are in place and the rest of it will be formed and poured early next week. It will be so nice to finally have steps.

In solar news, the city passed our system and the meter has been installed. It is already pretty cool to see how our system is performing.

The main irrigation lines are also installed allowing us to start landscaping.

Things should be wrapping up in the next month and we may move into this house yet.

Week 109 – Steel Continues

Progress continues on the steel railings for the staircase.

The deer fence is also getting finished out.

The upper deck planters and trellis continues.

The framework for the floating entry steps is in progress.

Finally get to see the finished island without all the protective tape and paper. I can’t wait to cook with this view.

Week 108 – Steel Work

The steel work has started in the house for both the interior and exterior. On the inside, the fireplace wrapping is installed.

The staircase railing has also started.

On the exterior, the planters and trellis installing on the roof top deck has also started.

In addition, lots of other general progress. The garage door has been installed.

The footing for the staircase leading up to the front door has also started.

We should be tracking for completion no later than end of April. We can’t wait to move in!

Week 106 – Bathroom Glass

The upper part of the driveway has cured and looks great.

The wood is being installed over the fireplace.

All the glass has been installed in the bathrooms.

The stove finally arrived has been installed.

It also looks like the garage door has been installed but since it was left open I didn’t want to try closing it in case it wasn’t final yet.

The wood floors are also being prepped for finishing so that will start next week as well.
